DECKER PARK

Public BBQ

Perched along Moreton Bay at Brighton, Decker Park delivers a quintessential Queensland waterfront experience. The expansive grounds feature multiple BBQ areas with covered picnic tables, making it a magnet for weekend gatherings - though locals recommend arriving early on public holidays to secure prime spots. The substantial playground, complete with sand play area and full-sized basketball court, keeps families entertained while the adjacent dog off-leash area proves equally popular. The waterfront location appeals to cycling enthusiasts using the shared pathway and weekend anglers casting lines from the rocky shoreline. Practical amenities include ample parking and convenient toilets. The covered seating areas accommodate everything from intimate picnics to larger celebrations.
